Lisa stopped by the house today and noticed that our concrete driveway and sidewalk had been poured. The painters were working on the outside trim and she noticed some painting had been going on inside the house as well.
I plan on stopping by the house tomorrow morning to get some pictures. Check back then...
Well, June 16 is the day -- closing! Toady was a wet and rainy day so I decided to go to a quick drive to check everything out. There have been some pretty significant updates to the house.

I am standing at the top of our stairs looking into the bonus room. We LOVE the oak handrails/railings. The white spindles will really help set off that oak as well. Money well-spent!

I like the shutters a lot. They are black and work really well with the brick and siding color we selected.

It looks like our closing may happen early June. Very cool.
I made another stop this afternoon and took a few pictures of our bathroom tile being laid. The photo below is from our upstairs bath. The picture doesn't do it justice. (Dean, remember our tiling projects?...yeah, I'm trying to forget, too).
In the garage, I noticed that our interior doors, inside spindle railings, trimwork, and posts for our front porch had been delivered today.
Yesterday they finished the brickwork on the house -- so the outside part of construction is getting closer to completion.
The interior walls were painted with the primer/base coat and I guess flooring prep should begin today.
Lisa wanted our address to be all fancy looking -- so I gave in!
